Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q - Spartanburg: Authentic Southern Barbecue with Warm Hospitality

From the first time walking in the door when they first opened. I try my best to come here once or twice a week. John today along with Makayla is reason you would keep coming back. Their hospitality is definitely welcoming. Checking to make sure that my experience is up to standards! Thank you and I will definitely be back!! From the brisket, ribs, bbq, wings, turkey you cannot go wrong with anything you choose! Don’t forget those cheese biscuits. Here are a few pics from my previous visits. I like the fact that it is not freezing in this place like most restaurants. Overall, our experience here was good! Makayla was our server and she did a great job on making sure we were comfortable. The price kinda threw me for a loop but we haven't ate out in a while and we enjoyed ourselves! Their sauce is soooo good and flavorful, the mac and cheese was on point and very cheesy but the brisket was mostly fat and the meat we did taste was pretty good!

JNN is wonderful. Food is excellent. Julie at the bar is amazing. Wait staff is very attentive. Great place to go. Pictures are gabanero honey wings, bbq salad with chicken & loaded baker with brisket. The deviled eggs are a must have.

Short wait time even in busy hours. Hot fresh food smaller portions for the price and high price overall. Service for a place like is way above average. The mac and cheese is hands down the better in the area. Brisket also really good worth trying out. It won't be my go to but every now and then is really recommended to give it a try.

All I can say is, I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. I noticed it when I was going to go to Panera and I said I’ll give this try because I’ve never tried it before. There were people waiting in line to get a seat inside, so I opted to go to the drive-through. I was hoping it did not disappoint. Any time you see a line out the door chances are it’s a good place to eat, especially with the locals. Oh my gosh that had to be the best smoked chicken I have had in a long time quality of all the food was excellent. I have no complaints whatsoever. The service was wonderful. The people were polite. There was a slight wait to get the food, but in my opinion, it was worth the Wait five stars all around I would go back again and again I think I found a new favorite lunch place to go to. I apologize for the lack of pictures as I was so hungry and couldn’t wait to eat. Also, also those little muffins or biscuits or whatever they call them. We’re out of this world, moist delicious and melted in your mouth.

We visited on a busy Saturday and the indoors dinning was almost completely full, drive thru was lined up in 2 lines... We managed to get thru the order line quickly and our food did not take long at all! I was very impressed with the staff. They were very tentative and easy to locate if we needed anything, often checking on our table as they passed by. Food was good and I do suggest you try the loaded Mac and cheese. I was not as impressed with the pulled pork plate as it didn't stand out and could have used a little more shredding from the outside, but it was not bad at all still. Cheesy biscuits are a must!!!
